The Dance Institute of Washington presents..."Return of the Spirit of Kwanzaa"

The Return of "The Spirit of Kwanzaa" - Kwanzaa is a Winter holiday celebration that draws on the agricultural ceremonies of Africa!

Being that we are in America, and not Africa, The Dance Institute of Washington has adapted to those principles which honor our ancestors to our struggles and our creativity. "The Spirit of Kwanzaa" has been known to celebrate the holiday's principles with dance, music, and spoken word performances. The Dance Institute of Washington is excited to bring back this amazing production in honor of the late Fabian Barnes.
